The kid was a skater and the dad was injecting him with roids and then taking them himself. The kid had to testify against the dad and the dad had the nerve to say the kid was fully aware of what was going into his body and was ok with it.

Needless to say dad is in jail for some time.

The same show had kids as young as 7-8 in gyms training to be MMA competetors. The mayor was trying to get the gym shut down.

Kids can train & compete in wrestling and I'd think boxing at that age-what's the difference?

I really don't know what to think. I really don't care but the kids aren't wrestling and they don't have boxing gloves on. They're fighting like any adult would in a ring. Is it a good message to teach these kids?

I don't care either way but my wife told me no son of mine would ever be in the ring until they're much older. But, that's just a mom I guess.

I know exactly where you're coming from BH. I guess it all comes down to how they are trained & what the rules are at that age-which I assume would be much different than what we're used to.

It was pretty interesting though. I mean, if the kids are staying phsically active and competetive with each other and have passion for the sport then so be it. Just as long as the parents teach them that gym fighting doesn't mean schoolyard fighting unless somebody flips you some shit or something.

i found the most interesting part was that the dad, interviewed behind bars, claims the kid knew what he was doing the whole time and should take the blame for the situation. this guy is in jail and is still blaming his son. kid must feel like shiite muslims on a stick
