Exacta mutual pools are separate from the Win, Place and Show pool. The odds of 2-5 and 12-1 are morning line odds only. No matter the final odds to win when the gates open in affecting the exacta payout. That payout depends on how the bettors wager on that combination of both horses in the exacta pool.

In New York the minium payments are lower than elsewhere. BB will pay 2.05 to WPS if he wins, anywhere else it would be 2.20, ive been out the loop for awhile but i know it will be next to nothing.
A 1/35 exacta will pay maybe 2.70 if we get enough idiots making 1/all tickets.
I think it was in Cigars record 15th straight win, everybody who knew nothing were making cigar/all/all tris and it paid less than a 3rd of what the ticket cost..

BB is going off at 1-5 MININUM...maybe 1-9...he should create a minus show pool after the preakness start and lack of talent in this race, it remains to be seen if it will happen...there will be 10's of 1000's maybe 100's of 1000's of $2 uncashed WIN tickets on BB...why? bc they have been PRESELLING them on eBay for 3 weeks now as collectables for people who live in AZ/CA/TX etc and cant get to NY (its funny how the internet has changed out lives eh?)....if you really believe he cant lose the PLACE pool might be your best payout (like it was in the preakness)
