These are all my future/match-up one plays. I really like Spain to win it all, and they should be in the finals against either Germany or Portugal. A darkhorse for this years tourney is Romania and I was hoping to pick them to advance, but that group is just too tough for me to honestly believe they'll advance. Don't be surprised if they do though.

Good luck everybody, can't wait to get this tourney underway.

Neither Czech Republic or Switzerland score four or more goals $2700/$100

is this 2700 to earn 100?
if it is i really hope it hits for ya but seems abit too risky...anything can happen in these type of games.
if that one bet misses u will need 2 win all the others just to get back ur original stake......:think2:

apart from that alot of the others look good....bol mate:103631605

ShakerMaker- Yeah, that was the bet and I know technically it is not a smart bet, but I figured it was free money with those two teams playing. The Swiss always play great defense, but have troubles scoring goals, and they were up against the top goalie in the world. Czech was missing some of their best players for recent tournaments also, so I really didn't see either team scoring any more than 2 goals at the most.

Czech Republic/Switzerland under 2.5 $178/$100- WIN

Czech Republic/Switzerland under 1.5 $100/$168- WIN

Czech Republic/Switzerland draw $100/$198- LOSS

Neither Czech Republic or Switzerland score four or more goals $2700/$100- WIN

So far: 3-1 +$268 (2.68 units)

Great job man, after the 1st round it'll be much easier to make the picks. Because Group C & D are pretty tight, with 2 Underdogs that can surprise the heavy favs, talking about Romania and Russia here. GL with your picks, lets rob the bookies :toast:

MonsterBuck- Yeah, and after the first round I can just make bets on who is going to win without worrying about a tie (I think they still offer draw at the end of reg., but I'm pretty sure they offer just who wins the game too, including OT and PK).

Romania +0.5 $101/$100- WIN

So far: 5-1 +468 (4.68 units)

Who you on tomorrow chase? I'm thinking Spain ML for -170....

I'm on Spain ML at -141..I see it has gone up quite a bit since the start of the tourney. I have Spain winning the tourney, so I like them to beat an over-hyped Russia team (a lot of peoples pick as a sleeper to go far). I'm also on Sweden pk against the Greeks.

Chase, I find it interesting that you put so much for so little a return on one of your wagers and yet you put so little to gain so much on another. The pair of wagers I'm referring to are the $2700 to win $100 and the $200 to win $1160 wager on Spain to win it all.
Heck I'd be tempted, since you believe Spain walks away with the trophy, to take half or even a quarter of that $2700 and add it to the $200 you put on the Spaniards. I just don't see any value at all in putting up $2700 to pocket $100.
Then again, we all have our opinions I suppose.
Bol in the end.

The last couple of games I've seen Greece play they've looked very sloppy, and they pretty much just made a name for themselves with their miracle run four years ago. Sweden is a more experienced team, and in my opinion have more overall talent. They should also be very motivated knowing this will be one of their best chances to make a run with it being the last international tourney for Larsson.

I get what you're saying, and I fully understand that it is not deemed as smart gambling, but I have no problem laying large odds if I am very confident in winning the wager. I really didn't see anyway either the Swiss or Czechs would score four goals in that game, and I was right with only 1 total goal being scored.

In reality I do have more on Spain than just the $200 because I have them advancing to the quarters, and advancing to the semis. I will also most likely be making separate bets on most of their games as long as I like the match-up.

BOL to you as well.:toast:

i like to chear for the scandnavian teams in these tournys but i don't think anybody is giving this greek team credit. I want to make a bet on a draw at +194, are draw bets for suckers. this will be my first soccer bet, just looking for some insight and you seem to be on top of things.

Draw bets aren't for suckers, and Sweden/Greece might actually be the best draw bet of the first match-ups. Greece plays a very ugly game, but it does help to make sure teams don't score often. I can easily see this game going scoreless.

I really don't see this one being a draw... I see sweden takin this game 2-0.. Greece has a horrible defense and aswell as a horrible keeper.. Greece does have a strong midfield but i see ibra and larson causing some havoc for the greek back line

I would go for the draw...Greece as a unit are a very good team and they dont allow a lot of goals...Sweden is a cautios team and surely will be very happy with a draw against the defending champs....Sweden did not look good during their friendlys i can see something along the way off the Romania vs France yawn fest from yesterday.
