sorry if anybody has money on em...but...these guys kill me...swept at home by the Phillies? Do people realize how hard it is to sweep the Braves in their own ballpark? Are the Phillies that good...or the braves just that bad?

Braves are a baffling team......and you just know they will rack off 10 in a row at some point in the season...its just too early to yell foul...but why do they do this every year?...underachievers....and Cox has had it....1 ring ? come on...

I don't see any teams in the NL East running away with it. All of the three big teams have very noticeable problems. The Phillies have terrible pitching outside of Hamels, the Braves have better starting pitching, but have a terrible bullpen, and the Mets also lack pitching outside of Santana. All three teams are more than capable of scoring runs. It is the pitching that will keep all three from being serious contenders.

I would probably rate the Braves as the top team in the NL East though, even after this bad series.

Before you throw out the Phillies have horrible pitching they have best bullpen in baseball and the most quality starts in the NL. That doesn't look like bad pitching to me.
