This play was not counted in my record. I had other plays but this was the only one that hadn't started by the time I could get back online. I doubt this makes any difference to the seeding....so whatever.

SIG, your emailed picks on Saturday did not count per rule which I overlooked. Question was raised in the picks thread. You received penalties for 3 plays short instead. Sorry for the confusion.

My record in yesterday's thread was 10-3...you decided that they were fine yesterday...that means I need 2 plays to not be penalized which I made when the site came back up today...if you would have come to your decision when grading last night I could have made 3 more picks today to give me 15....Why did you change your mind?

I know this is a seeding round and is not a big deal, but I'm all about being fair.

SIG, I'd really appreciate it if you could accept my ruling. Other posters felt it was not fair that emailed plays should count since it was expressly stated in the rules. It was my fault for not realizing that emailing your picks were not allowed and I apologize. If you can live with the decision, it would really help me out since all these changes are a creating a bookeeping nightmare. In a way, you are partially responsible since you did not follow the rules so I am asking your indulgence.

Yeah I was forced to play teams I didn't like Sunday simply because I wasn't able to get access to the forum which I know was beyond your control. Barely missed the field maybe I could have made the field if I could have played my picks, who knows. GLTA

I don't envy your position, JOH, in this scenario. My sincere apologizes to you if I contributed to the frustration. Like you said, everyone starts at zero now and let's have fun!

P.S. Way off the point, where was the post where you described the odd man out in the matchups of 2-men/3-men? I realized it was in another post, as it's not in the rules post. I was trying to remember how you described the plan to group by 2's and 3's. I found it fascinating that the highest seeds still had 3-way matchups when they should have the advantage of 2-way matchups instead? I envy people who are seeded #23-#42 as they are the "favorite" and only need to beat 1 opponent to move on.

P.S. Gator627, I just realized that only the worst player would be eliminated so the highest seeds have that strongest advantage as they hope the #100's seeds would be eliminated. In your 3-man group, you just need to be 1st or 2nd.

By my indications of the rule the lower seed of the (3) is eliminated

Just beat out 1 guy and you move on.
