Don't get it at all. The hottest offense (Chi) with their best pitcher going against the worst offense (Det) and their worst pitcher. I've looked at all the splits and this line makes no sense. Are there injuries I don't know about?
Dying to unload but it looks too good to be true...

Little fact about Contreras.....
The right-hander is 8-7 with a 4.49 ERA in 21 starts versus Detroit, but 0-1 with a 6.17 ERA in two outings against the Tigers in 2008.
Might help explain the line.
I think he had the misfortune of catching Detroit twice in the first week of the season when they were hitting and he was struggling. Since then he has given up 7 earned runs in 6 games. Opponents have a .295 slugging pct. against Contreras compared to Robertson's .488! There's no home/away, or lefty/righty advantage for Robertson or disadvantage for Contreras. Not to mention that these offenses are polar opposites in the White Sox favor.
I'll take my chances.
