Robertson is having a poor year and he hasn't shown any signs of improvement in this command, and Contreras has definitely picked up his season since those starts against Detroit in April. Almost seems too easy to take the Sox here.

Jose seems to have trouble with the tigers all the time...I'm just hoping even if he gets hit hard that Robertson will get hit harder...Sox lineup should get to him

Theory if Sox lose tonight

I figure if they lose tonight I will win it back tommorrow w/Vazquez,Verlander matchup. It seems like about every 15 games or so Detroit shows flashes of what they could be scoring in the double digits. Just hope tonight is not one of those nights.

Doug, I haven't been betting since March Madness ended and needed a long break from the nba season and tournament. I'm slowly getting back into it and just catching up to speed.

I'm throwing out last year's stats for Contreras since he's a new man this year, and his control has definitely improved since those two starts against Detroit.

I wouldn't go over on it just because he can shut them out, but I do expect the Sox to get some runs against robertson. Tigers have a better chance with verlander or rogers to win a game this series, and it's hard to bet against a hot team like Chicago is.
