could just be coincidence, but i doubt it.i think there is definitely a correlation between the two.i think this hatred towards obama has more to do with his race than his politics.this based on the comments by the "right" on this forum.

I'm highly suspect of your knee jerk analysis on the matter.

This is so lame...the left screams racism if you don't like our candidate.

Get real...

You know the Wall Street Journal has this poll wereby it showed how 51% of Obama voters are excited to vote for Obama and 49% of McCain voters are excited to vote against Obama.

Does that make sense?

This topic is a preview of what is coming on November 5th. They'll be looking for excuses and this excuse will be the more popular choice among the intellects. Maybe not voting for Obama isn't because of his skin color, but because he is Big Government Liberal (Yes, just like Bush Fiscally but not Socially) who thinks the Government is the solution to our problems and not the cause of them. Too easy to use the race card though.

Whats all this shit about race all the time? I think you Libs have a complex or something....As one of the most Conservative here like I said before if Colin Powell were running I would vote for him in a heartbeat...Party doesnt mean anything to me either...Belonging to a particular party is a sign of weakness... Obama sucks.

No it isn't racist because that same huge % of blacks voted for Clinton in both of his terms. Although it is like clockwork I knew you'd come with that statement.

I find it surprising that you have a candidate.

Thought that your sole reason here was to spread lies and hatred about the Democrats.

anyone seen William Bennett lately ... the GREAT GOPer who touted "Morals" for so long:

Wed, Sep 28, 2005 3:18pm ET

Media Matters exposes Bennett: "[Y]ou could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down"

http://mediamatters.org/items/200509280006

Addressing a caller's suggestion that the "lost revenue from the people who have been aborted in the last 30 years" would be enough to preserve Social Security's solvency, radio host and former Reagan administration Secretary of Education Bill Bennett dismissed such "far-reaching, extensive extrapolations" by declaring that if "you wanted to reduce crime ... if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down." Bennett conceded that aborting all African-American babies "would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do," then added again, "but the crime rate would go down."

Bennett's remark was apparently inspired by the claim that legalized abortion has reduced crime rates, which was posited in the book Freakonomics (William Morrow, May 2005) by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. But Levitt and Dubner argued that aborted fetuses would have been more likely to grow up poor and in single-parent or teenage-parent households and therefore more likely to commit crimes; they did not put forth Bennett's race-based argument.
From the September 28 broadcast of Salem Radio Network's Bill Bennett's Morning in America:
CALLER: I noticed the national media, you know, they talk a lot about the loss of revenue, or the inability of the government to fund Social Security, and I was curious, and I've read articles in recent months here, that the abortions that have happened since Roe v. Wade, the lost revenue from the people who have been aborted in the last 30-something years, could fund Social Security as we know it today. And the media just doesn't -- never touches this at all.
BENNETT: Assuming they're all productive citizens?
CALLER: Assuming that they are. Even if only a portion of them were, it would be an enormous amount of revenue.
BENNETT: Maybe, maybe, but we don't know what the costs would be, too. I think as -- abortion disproportionately occur among single women? No.
CALLER: I don't know the exact statistics, but quite a bit are, yeah.
BENNETT: All right, well, I mean, I just don't know. I would not argue for the pro-life position based on this, because you don't know. I mean, it cuts both -- you know, one of the arguments in this book Freakonomics that they make is that the declining crime rate, you know, they deal with this hypothesis, that one of the reasons crime is down is that abortion is up. Well --
CALLER: Well, I don't think that statistic is accurate.
BENNETT: Well, I don't think it is either, I don't think it is either, because first of all, there is just too much that you don't know. But I do know that it's true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could -- if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down. That would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down. So these far-out, these far-reaching, extensive extrapolations are, I think, tricky.
Bill Bennett's Morning in America airs on approximately 115 radio stations with an estimated weekly audience of 1.25 million listeners.

Road. I hear what your saying. But lemme ask this serious question. We call know Barack Obama isn't a muslim. THATS A FACT. How does one explain
 • (1) Fox News still fanning muslim flames on Obama trying to make a connection. He's been attending a Christian Church for 20 years. Any evidence of him at a mosque? One shred atleast?
 • (2) Voters insisting he is even though they're givin proof he isn't.
 • (3) Trying to make racial comments from members of his chruch stick to Obama when its pretty clear Obama doesn't share those beliefs?

btw...although I obviously can't prove it. I damn near choked one of my family members (a neo-con) when once he found out I was campaigning for Obama he told me, "I can't wait he gets nominated for the dems since the KKK or Arian Brotherhood can take him out"

Look man. Race is an issue and anyone to believe otherwise is naive.

Bill Clinton received the lowest percentage of black vote for any candidate from Mondale to present.

WASHINGTON (AP) - With Muslims worldwide growing more suspicious of the United States, President Bush (news - web sites) marked the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan with a visit Thursday to a mosque.

"The spirit behind this holiday is a reminder that Islam brings hope and comfort to more than 1 billion people worldwide," Bush said. "Islam affirms God's justice and insists on man's moral responsibility."

Every year since taking office the President has hosted an Iftaar dinner which Islamic "holy leaders" have attended. The Iftaar is a banquet held at the beginning of the Muslim month of Ramadan. According to various White House press releases, in 2001 the President was honored to welcome his guests during the "holy month of Ramadan," in 2002 he was honored that his guests attended to help "usher in the holy month of Ramadan," and in 2003 he was pleased to host his guests during the "blessed month of Ramadan."

Would you paint over that "stars and bars" flag that you have said that you have painted in the back of your rig?

But Obama isn't even "black".

He's half white. If you can call him "black"...you could just as easily call him "white".

And he doesn't have any slave history linking him to other African Americans.

And he never lived in a ghetto.

Get out of here with him being "black".
