It's pretty close now, to cheap beer like Busch !

A 30 pack is about $13, almost 3 gallons. $4.30 X 3= $12.90

By the keg, beer is probably cheaper than gas, for standard stuff like Bud, Miller or Coors.

Will we buy gas by the glass soon ?

What politician will lower the cost of beer? I consume more beer than gas and the 99 Rodeo I have been driving around only gets 11 MPG.

Beer prices will be going up dramatically also.

1. High fuel prices to deliever.

2. Grain prices are skyrocketing, and beer is full of grains. In fact, there was a story about this on CNBC last week, indicating how beer companies are experiencing high inputs from different areas.

It's strange, people complain about paying $4 for a gallon of gas, but have no problem paying the same and tipping a buck for 11.4 ounces of dirty beer.

You know I always hear people say a gallon of this or that cost more than a gallon of gas. For example, a gallon of beer, milk, or water cost more than a gallon of gas. But here is the difference. I have to use 25 gallons of gas a week. I might drink 1 gallon of beer or milk a week. When I only need 1 gallon of gas a week than I won't bitch about the price. Until then I will continue to complain about it.

In my lifetime, probably drank more gallons of beer/milk than gallons of gas that I've put in my vehicles.

I was talking to the driver for the coors/miller distributor at my place last week and he said that they have spent over a million dollars for fuel this year than at this point last year.

wow, you either don't drive much or you have a complete disregard for your liver. I'm 29 years old and would say I drink about as much beer as the average guy but there is no way it's even close for me. I would say I drink 24 beers or so a week which is a little over 2 gallons. For me to drink as much beer to be equal to the amount of gas i use then I would have to drink a little over 11 cases of beer a week.

In Hawaii (not sure if it only a state thing), they just put in a new rule that gas stations will not let you charge more than $75 worth of gas.

I get $7.46 a gallon for Bud at $21 a 30 pack, cheaper beer would be $4.62 a gallon ( $13 a 30 pack).

Water much less.
