When the Yanks won in 03 I felt completely devastated. I doubt I will ever feel that low again. It's something you can only expierence once in your life. I really don't even care to describe what those next few days were like following the game 7.

Living in Boston has many benefits (strong cultural area) but similar to cities like San Francisco, Washington D.C. Los Anageles, San Jose, Ca. it's most serious drawback is cost of living.
New York City is in a class by itself for cost of living. The Alaska cities are also expensive to live in.

Living in the state of Massachusetts itself has like most states both good and bad. I recently lived on Cape Cod Mass for 18 months or so and it is a seriously beautiful area to live in. Unfortunately they do not call Massachusetts - Taxachusetts for nothing.
Like New England - visit Newport, Rhode Island and the surrounding area.

well i was in boston just a week ago. and i was out and about the whole time there. must say, that has to be the least diverse of all major cities. went to fenway and the garden so i can't complain about my trip. but everywhere i went, there wasn't another nig (or any other diversity for that matter) in sight. weather could be a lot better there as well
What are you guys talking about regarding Boston's public transportation? I lived in Boston for 3 months and had no trouble getting around the city using the subway.
As for women, I didn't notice too many nice ones except for the Irish red-heads but that's just my particular opinion. Besides, there are so many good restaurants in Boston you can get your comfort in food.

It would be worse. To lose 3 in a row and the last games on your home court is much worse (plus Baskets is the best home advantage) than losing a football game on a neutral field.
It would even be worse than the '05 YANKEES collapse per the HOME COURT BASKETBALL ADVANTAGE.
Although the Yankee fans hurts more than lakefan would because of the RIVALRY and even though sox-yanks wasn't the Worls Series JMO.
