just finished watching this. one of the best movies ive ever seen. i think daniel day lewis won an oscar for it.

Same here. Absoultely loved it.

The Oil Derrick scene is a triumph. The song played during it "Convergence" is one of the most amazing pieces of music I have ever heard.

"What are you looking so miserable about? There is a whole ocean of Oil underneath our feet and nobody can get at it except for me!"

It was ok, weird fucking movie though.

Check out a Thai movie, 13:The Game of Death when you get a chance. Won't be surprised if they do an american remake of this film.

Giving it an ok is being generous. The last scene really makes you wonder what the writers were smoking.

The movie was an excellent character study made very good by Daniel Day Lewis.

However, it was too long and I didn't fully understand the ending. Did he just become so insane at the end that he was reduced to killing someone with his bare hands and a bowling pin?
