Thoughts...I dont like paying all the fees with ebay but it does have a wider audience.

Depends what it is. Some things can't be shipped ,like a gas grill, so Craigslist that, but if it were a baseball card, then ebay.

i've sold almost anything i have ever listed on Craigslist within a day or two..the responce is unreal. Ebay is so saturated with some shit you don't even get a bid. Craigslist all the way, oh and its free there too.

It's all what it is. If you are selling a used truck, you want local people, so CL is perfect in your city. You can't ship it cross country.

If you had a $5,000 rare coin CL would suck, but ebay would be great.

very different platforms.

If I give people a deal, than Craigslist. If I don't need money in a hurry, Ebay.

I had two boxes of nice Infiniti speakers that sell for like $70 on Ebay and I know I could have gotten around that much if I waited a week to list em, but I had a date coming up and was running low on funds. Just put em on Craigslist for $40 a box and they sold super fast and the moral of the story is I got in there... all thanks to Craigslist.

ebay... people are cheap as hell on craigslist

yet they can be very generous... they'll give you the toilet out of their bathroom.

"Well Jake, this has sure been a nice evening out."

"Thanks honey. I sold my living room on CraigsList so I could pay for it. If you want to see me again, tell me now so I can get my bedroom stuff up on the List for next week."

I like ebay because it seems more organized. Craiglist is all over the place with shit.

As a buyer, I don't even consider CL. EBay does protect the buyer.

As a seller I like the worldwide bidding wars in Ebay better...Craigslist has the feel of a cheap garage sale in a poor neighborhood.

I think CL shines for that.
