I could not believe Angel Cabrera was favored over David Love III in Round 2. Angel just stopped smoking and was a John Daly-like mess on the course, shaking and yearning for a cigarette and DL III was solid as expected. Cabrera was a -120 favorite for Round 2 and it just did not make sense. Looking forward to finding another gem for Round 3.

DL III is in form. Driving it straight and hitting greens. He's one person I will not fade tomorrow. I like Donald and Karlson to finish 1,2.

He drove it straight and hit greens for two days, that won't last the weekend. It will be Woods and Appleby or Mickelson close after that. Mickelson couldn't be playing any worse off the tee, and he's still not that far back. If he can straighten that out, he'll get back in it.

Still surprised Mickelson is only hitting 3 wood off the tee on a 7600+ yd course. He needs to hit the draw driver and put one of his 4 wedges in the bag or get that three wood in the damn fairway.

Jimenez is playing well and Donald is hanging around...love this shit, but watching it from 2-6 AM in the morning isn't cutting it...

Jimenez was amazing today. Lots of greens and solid putting - US Open gold. The cream WILL rise to the top under these conditions and with the weekend pin placements. No surprises on Sunday - but I still like Donald to outlast Karlson and Woods. Phil fades to 5th or 6th.

I t is really amazing what a bum knee does to other competitor's hopes and dreams..I'm a fan of Lefty but Tiger has just dominated him after the first hole on Thursday...
