6/14 plays

just started up on baseball for the year on the 11th...hot start so far 8-4 +6.04...so tread with caution...will start with clean slate here obviously.

Pitt +118 2 units
2 units is a large play for me in baseball - Liz pitched alright his first two starts, but he hasn't gone more than five and a third and hasn't had to pitch at home yet. He really isn't very good and I expect Pittsburgh to get to him today. Zach Duke isn't anything special be he should be able to "out-duel" Liz here.

Boston +142 1 unit
Volquez has been unreal, but I don't think he's as good as he's been. Tough to say what you will get from Wakefield...I'll take my chances with +142 on the sox and also will try a little play on the over:

Boston/Cincy over 8.5 -115 .5 unit
Really want to play this for more, but I'm trying to be cautious this year, so I'll play it for a half, again tough to say with Wakefield...couple of explosive offenses...I like it.

Colorado/CWS over 10 -115 .5 unit
Staying cautious on these over/unders...I can not see Danks keeping this up and de la rosa is about as bad as it gets.

Yanks -113 .5 unit
Wandy could get hit today...thinking Mussina throws well, could get bombed though so I'll stay restrained here.

Seattle/NYM ML parlay +118
Wanted to play Bedard vs Wash with something because I'm not laying -210 on Seattle...ended up rolling with Pedro :smoker2:...probably some value in Washington to be honest, but Bedard just has to win here doesn't he? But Seattle -210? uhh

Been good. Ya i just play college hoops and Baseball. dabble in everything else from time to time. Got off to a horrendous start down about 20 units the first month of the season. i was too busy with work and didnt have enough time to reseach. was literally just throwing away $$, so i took some time off and just started back up again a few weeks ago. was up over 20 units total until yesterday so it shows research helps.

Where you been hiding?

I've been busy with a bunch of things...end of college basketball season crash really made me need to take some extra time off. I like to wait on the baseball season though...some say this is the tough part of the year, I say it's the easiest. A lot of regression to the mean plays and such. Been playing the ponies a bit in the mean time with limited success or failure to feed my addiction.

Glad to hear you righted the ship, I'll look for your plays and should be around posting picks when I'm not off working for days on end.
