Ill add that if Griffey were hitting .300 with 15 HRs 50 RBIs..... I would have understood him swinging 3-0. But, he isnt swinging the bat that well. The Reds were looking at having bases loaded with Brandon Phillips, who is swinging that well, or, at worst, Griffey gets to see the exact same pitch on 3-1. Argh.

What really makes it bad is it wasn't even close. The centerfielder lobbed the ball in to the shortstop yet the catcher was still waiting on the runner to get there.
A close mistake is bad enough, even then it's stupid to make your first out at home, but to get thrown out by a mile like that is ridiculous. Every time I bet on the Red Sox it seems they do something stupid like this. Idiots. I almost hope they lose now. Not quite..... but almost.
