I don't know how to place accent marks.

Is it Coast-ah-Rica. or Cossst-a-ric-ah

I know Nevada is pronounced , Ne-VADDD-ah, from having lived there.

I pronounce Missouri like a local.... Miz-urhhhh-uh

I pronounce Arkansas as ... ARRRR-Kansas , because I like to do so.

O's are long, A's are short, I's sound like "eee"

that's another one, uneducated folks in the East, are likely to say Porter-Rican, that is not cool, IMO !


You can hate blacks ,PR's or anybody you dislike My wife doesn't like PR's. She's dumb as a rock, I give up giving her history lessons, and telling her PR is a territory and such, her attention span is about a minute

that's not really fair,Steve ! I'm usually at GN, or MGM level, may slum to an Excaiibur, but not El Cortez.. If I were single I'd do Cortez/Ogden house no problem. 'm a big guy, no fear walking up Fremont, it's my hood.

Ayuh, but if you're speaking English in America, it would be customary to use "Rican" as the suffix

ie, "She is a smokin' hot Rican"
