After almost 2 years as GM of theRX, the time has come for me to move on. Before any rumors or crazy speculation starts, this is move is because of just one reason – SportsOptions. When we started RXOdds, we planned on it just being a nice add-on to theRX. However, once we launched, we quickly realized 2 things - the huge potential of the service and how time consuming it was going to be for me. Another factor is that because of the politics going on in the line service industry, SportsOptions was causing a burden to theRX and some of their partners.
Last month we had a group offer to purchase SportsOptions, and after considering all of the factors, theRX decided to make the move.
MartyJ will be taking over the GM role, but I don’t expect to see anything change. Wilheim and his team have been running this place for 3 years, and even in this crazy climate, theRX has never been stronger.
I will still be around theRX and hopefully I will be able to post more and mix it up with everybody. And SportsOptions will continue to advertise here, so I guess you all will have to put up with us for a long time!
I want to thank theRX for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their team and community. I also want to thank the mods for putting up with me, and teaching me the forum business. And last, but not least, I want to thank all of you. I quickly learned that the community drives the forum and will take care itself and it is best to just get out of the way!
