Fade the Mets tommorrow

Mets just played a seven hour grueling double header, now must fly 6 hours back to the west coast to play the best team in the AL (one could argue) the Angels.

Weaver is never going to make people forget Sandy Koufax, but the Mets starter Pelfry makes Weaver look like Bob Gibson.

Given the circumstances given above, plus the fact the Mets have virtually quit on Willie, there is no way I see the Angels losing tommorrow in this spot.

Agreed. Here is a what if for you Bill what if they fire Willie tonight teams always seem to play hard for the new guys first game.

The Mets will probably have a late lead and blow it in the 8th or 9th.

Peterson and HoJo will go first, then Willie.

That damn HOJO I've hated that guy forever. Always killed the Cardinals. Probably would be one of my favorites if we wore the birds on the bat instead.

Figgins is back too. Huge piece of their offense.

been back for the braves series and they lost the first two of that one against one of the worst road teams in baseball.

with that said i like the angels tomorrow as well.

Neither here nor there. Doesn't mean he's not a huge part of their offense. Did his part in those games as well.

kind of here or there haha... seriously i am just bitter because i thought they would get 2 out of 3 at the very least.

I completely agree, however, I bet last weekend against the Yankees for the same reason (NY to Oak), but they ended up winning.

But A) they didn't play a double header, B) LAA is a better team than OAK, and C) Yankees are arguably better than the Mets).

I don't think Willie sat any of his starters either.

I like Angels as well as Under

I'm thinking Angels runline but there offense worries me, and I would hate to lose by a 1/2 run. I had the Angels/Mets -1.5 in a nice parlay tonite... was sweating that Angels game.. Krod is lights out though.

Mets' speed steering me clear now. Reyes + Castillo + Wright, all capable, Randolph has been a bit passive sending them but Weaver's got that delayed motion and wouldn't be surprised if they get aggressive.

If they get on base...
