Hard to go against Tiger but damn if it gets up to high you almost have to make a small play on Rocco IMO.

love how tiger says " were gonna have a lot of fun " when talking about the playoff .

i guess by fun he means they'll say good luck at the start and good match at the end .

tiger has to be the most boring player on tour to play with.

Rocco isn't going to be intimidated by Tiger. Rocco hits fairways and greens, that matters in the U.S. Open. If his putter was better today he would have won outright.

Rocco was speaking so fast during his interview and seemed surprised that he held it together

playing in front of tiger is one thing....

but playing with him...18 holes...playoffs is another

try sleeping tonight

Here's my situation:

Open Bet -

<TABLE class=matchupBox cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR class=evenRow><TD class=goLed><TABLE class=matchupBox cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR class=evenRow><TD class=teamsBox><SMALL>US OPEN WINNER - UPDATED AFTER ROUND 2</SMALL>
[8026] TIGER WOODS +125

</TD><TD class=amountBox> 50.00 </TD><TD class=riskwinBox> to win 62.50</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR><TR class=evenRow><TD class=goLed></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Now, do I put 50.00 on Mediate at +305 tommorow for a Bonus Bet with a higher payout or stay with the more likely 50.00 bet on Tiger at +125?

I'm sitting on Tiger -150 prior to today! Glad he made that putt. Contemplating grabbing a little Rocco, but I dont think he stands a chance tomorrow.

There's actually an advantage to bet Rocco believe it or not. Rocco has 1 round over par to Tigers two.

OK, I have a dumb question.

Why do they play 18 holes, when other majors they play
sudden death on the same day?

The U.S. Open has required an 18 hole playoff for some time now. As you said, the other majors do not.

Personally I like the 18 hole playoff. Anything that stretches my golf watching and wagering out another day is okay by me.

+300 on Mediate is a steal. Come on. Do people realize that he beat Tiger by 2 strokes today? Tiger is still hurting and now he has to play a 5th straight.

The US open is put on by the USGA. They require the 18 hole playoff format.

The PGA is sudden death on all of theirs.

The 18 hole play off is the most fair but a pain in the ass for all the people involved in putting on or working the tournament.
