Just heard that he said he would waive his no-trade clause for a trade to the Tampa Bay Rays. If the Rays can get Jr. without giving up too much young talent watch out for this team this year. I already think this team is good enough to make the playoffs, but I don't think it would be crazy to start thinking World Series if they get Jr. They are certainly better than the Rockies were last year, and they probably have a better team than the the White Sox or Marlins were when they won the Series.

Got to be an exciting time to be a Rays fan.

Griffey isn't good. He would only hurt the team. Time for him to retire.

Jr. isn't a star anymore, but he's still a good player and someone pitchers still fear. If Cliff Floyd can be re-born with the Rays, so can Jr.

I also still can't believe nobody has taken a chance on Bonds. This guy can still help a team win games, even if he is a prick sometimes.

That's just it he is a prick that can disrupt a clubhouse. Throw in all the hoopla and media bullshit the guy brings along with him nobody needs that shit.

Tampa Bay doesn't need another power lefty guy. They have like, 4, already. They need a solid right-handed hitter!!
