FSU starter Villanueva has a 3.79 ERA and allowed opponents to hit just .229. Miami made the surprising decision to start their #4 starter slash long reliever David Gutierrez, maybe bacause FSU banged around their #2 and #3 starters in their regular season meetings ( Miami banged aroung Villanueva too). Gutierrez has a 4.67 ERA and allowed opponents to hit .258. FSU scored 4 runs off him in one inning in the regular season.

pitching edge: FSU

batting, FSU is one of the the best if not the best hitting teams in the country. team hits .354 and scores 8.92 runs per game. Miami hit .320 and scored 8.17 runs per game.

batting edge: FSU

These teams dont like each other and their was a near brawl after Miami took the regular season series 2-1 with a 11-10 win in Tallahasse. Should be a hard fought game, could go either way. I like FSU +170.

:thumbsup2:

big drop off for Miami from their #1 starter to anyone else. Not so with FSU, they have 3 starters who are pretty much the same, good but not great. No value in -180 or -200 or so on #1 vs #4 on a neutral field. Miami didnt play much of a schedule either.
