your bet is over...i can tell u now....watching casually...braves had 1st and 2nd and 1 out 1st inning, and texeira had 3-2 count and jimenez has been wild

ball pitched about 6 inches off the plate and tailed away and catcher had to sprawl to keep f rom missing it.........tex called out on strikes, on odd weird play....woulda loaded bases, and ump got involved big time for some reason

Incidentally, mcann singles on next pitch up the middle, kelly johnson gunned at plate....and yes he was out by mile......no foul play there...but the ump put the braves on tilt big time......

rockies should win here easily, as i just saw an ump get involved in a baseball game like i havent in long time, he basically called a anear wild pitch a called strike 3

congrats rocks backers

I saw that pitch you are referring to, and it was NOT a strike. Not even close.. I have Colo, so no bitching here. That totally turned that inning around, big break

:lolBIG:

You know what? I'm not surprised because the line had been jumping all over the place and did not resemble anything remotely close to what it was 5 hrs ago....Somethings up....Kinda surprising though, regular season games usually don't get tampered with too much...

the pitch in question was intended to be a "pitcher's pitch".....IE....not a strike, but a ball the batter can get himself out on, or do very little with......u dont wanna surrender to Texeria early in the game, with 2 runnerS on.......

the catchers location was set up away from lefty hitter.....the catcher was set up on the outside part of the plate........and he had to reach further to his own LEFT field this, in addition it dropped like a sinker.....

Catcher made no attempt to frame it, everyone conceded the walk, pitcher and catcher included...

Did you just see that strike 3 on Chipper???? Way low and outside, the catcher even dropped it, and strike 3 called! 3-2 count as well

i don't know what game you're watching, but the ball went over the plate clearly...it could have been low

yeh mlb is usually completely free of this....and why many of us feel more comfortable being fans of this game as opposed to that one.......

Just teasing...but there are some horrifically bad umps in the game...it changed a few years ago, I forget his name but the leader of the umps left and now its left to run wild under current leadership.
