here was the original post from June 13 ....

Interleague MLB system 96-36

Interleague MLB system:

Play ON American League Favorite Home Teams in game 1 of any interleague series:

96 wins 36 losses
avg line -155 profit $4325 ROI 21%
By year (bet the ml to win $100):
2004 22-9 $925
2005 24-8 $1190
2006 26-9 $1325
2007 21-10 $585
2008 3-0 $300

Yeah, it's heavy faves but the money seems to be there.

Potential games coming up:
06-13-2008 home Angels Braves
06-13-2008 home Blue Jays Cubs
06-13-2008 home Devil Rays Marlins
06-13-2008 home Indians Padres
06-13-2008 home Mariners Nationals
06-13-2008 home Orioles Pirates
06-13-2008 home Tigers Dodgers
06-13-2008 home White Sox Rockies
06-16-2008 home Angels Mets
06-16-2008 home Mariners Marlins
06-17-2008 home Devil Rays Cubs
06-17-2008 home Orioles Astros
06-17-2008 home Rangers Braves
06-17-2008 home Twins Nationals
06-17-2008 home White Sox Pirates
06-17-2008 home Yankees Padres
06-20-2008 home Athletics Marlins
06-20-2008 home Devil Rays Astros
06-20-2008 home Red Sox Cardinals
06-20-2008 home Royals Giants

Bet On the home team if it's a fave...that's it!

Record (since 2004)

W/L Profit Team
14-0 1400 Red Sox
9-1 765 Blue Jays
9-2 650 Angels
9-2 595 Twins
8-2 525 Athletics
9-3 460 White Sox
5-1 345 Rangers
3-0 300 Royals
4-1 280 Devil Rays
8-4 165 Yankees
3-3 -65 Mariners
5-6 -325 Tigers
5-5 -340 Indians
5-6 -430 Orioles

Here's a little extra sauce for the goose:

Eliminating betting on teams that are on a losing streak of 3 or more games improves the results:

92-29 profit $4,910 ROI: 26%

This makes sense to me because it means most likely the team was just swept in their last series, affecting morale, etc.

Re-stated:

Play ON American League Home Favorite teams who have won at least 1 of their last 3 games in Game 1 of any interleague series.

In case some people are thinking that the RL would be better for the bigger lines, here's the results for lines of -200 and above.

ML 17-3 (-210, -210, -235) so 17.00 - 6.55 = +10.45 units
RL 10-10 probably - units.

This almost indicates that LARGE favs on the ML should also be done with the dog +1.5 if you are still getting + money on the dog.

on June 13
Tigers won
Indians won
Seattle lost
Angels lost
White Sox won
Tampa Bay won
Toronto won
Baltimore won
so AL home teams went 6-2 but I don't know who was favored (covers is down right now)

as a153 so eloquently noted, last night both were favored and lost but Seattle came in on a 3 game losing streak so would not count against the tightener

tonight the Rays, Orioles, Twins, White Sox, and Yankees are all home favorites and none come in off 3+ losses
