I guess it's possible if you are good enough and win enough. But all the talk with Ivey and other poker players that are great at the game but have a weakness for other games I wonder.

With all the big names, Helmuth, Ivey, Mouth, Daniel N., etc....without all the endorsements, which player most likely be flipping burgers at Mc. D's.....other than mouth

This is a horrible question....

you are basically asking, if you are required to have 2 businesses, one that makes money and one that loses money, can you make money.

Depends what you mean by make it. Im not an expert on the subject but i know there is a huge industry budding of people backing poker players. From what ive heard from my buddy at the series is that this year a maj of the players are backed by financers who, say, pay 60 % of buy in for 70& of return. I dont know the exact figures. But alot of these guys are playing pro and making a living, but due to poor mm, they blow there roles and still need to be backed for the series.

How long can you go on like this? Prolly burn out eventually.

No, throw away the rags, play the good pockets, manage your money wisely when playing good pockets, you'll succeed.
But if you throw good money after marginal hands like 9-10o, you will tap out more than cash.
