San diego on the road isnt quite an attractive bet but I think the peavy/rasner match up is too big of a mismatch to pass up on. As long as the top half of that yankee lineup doesnt go nuts I think Peavy holds it down for a win. Think hell get thru the bottom half no problem. Cano is good but still has a lot to learn. Him along with betemit and cabrera probably wont be much of a factor. I'll take advantage of matsui being out vs peavy. Rasner looks to be the weak link and that bull pen although allowing nothing in the last 2 games is still not something to be trusted with. Padres will respond to last nights shut out with their ace on the mound.

Twins -1.5 +145

A team who doesnt score runs faces a pitcher who has given up 1 walk in his last 26 innings so nats wont be handed anything tonight. Im ignoring the mariners series and see the nats as a non threat. They have a pitcher who can get hit hard with a team who cant hit at all. Twins should have no problem getting a win tonight.
