The Dodgers called up Stults (1-4, 5.82 ERA in 2007) from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday to take Penny’s spot in the rotation. The left-hander was 5-6 with a 3.59 ERA in 14 starts for Las Vegas. He had three stints with the Dodgers last season.

This will be Stults’ first appearance against Cincinnati, and it’s perhaps a good opportunity for him to ease back into major league competition.

Harang is 2-3 with a 4.13 ERA in five starts versus the Dodgers.

He's 29 years old. He throws absolute junk- if it weren't for the Mets, his career numbers would be scary bad.

The Reds are the play here today. The Dodgers cant hit a lick, and this kid is getting torched in triple A let alone facing griffey and dunn

A lot of juice but Reds-185 1st 5 looks good if you want an early winner.

IMO .........This kid wont go deep @ all ....Kuo went 2 2/3 innings last night an wont be avail today ....I think LA is missing another piece of there bull pen too .........I took the U in the short game myself ........Also I think HARANG tossed a ton of pitchers last time out .......so it might be a real battle of the pens ......with that said you can be sure to see two complete games by these guys .........lol

Reds avoid the sweep as Harang is finally getting in a groove, and the word on Stults is that he has a small penis, which doesn't translate into an effective breaking ball.

i like the over, and now that the line has moved to -200/+185, i dont see how anyone can back the reds with a griffeyless lineup, and yet another shakeup atop the lineup with hopper....reds in big time funk

Yep, these lineups plus a getaway day game scares me off the over.

Stults looked ok last year when I saw him. Plus him being a lefty helps against Dunn, Bruce, Votto, Bako.

I'm tempted to hit the LA rl, but Harang looked good last time out.

dodgers havent had shot at a sweep in long time, whether they get or not doesnt matter....i dont think getaway game comes into play....reds dont wanna be swept at home, and dodgers HAVE BEEN HITTING LAST 2 GAMES at this park......and i dont think they are in any hurry to get out of cincy, as theyv been 6-1 vs this team, and got 6 runs off them last night

everybody beating up on dodgers lately, and they finally found someone they can beat....they are gonna try tog et this one
