u guys making big deal over no mcann.....no bradley, or laird for rangers.....total is at 11, so i guess morton is supposed to give some up here...but ill take the ATL pen over the rangers pen anyday

blanco hitting leadoff, and texeira has yet to have that "Im baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack" type game vs rangers, i see it today

Me too, except they most likely won't use Gonzalez again today. So it's back to Bennett, Ohman, Acosta at the back end today.

I do like Blanco, and the Teixeira factor does scare me.

no sonner does that happen..hamilton makes diving play on chipper and makes strike throw to third to nail escobar whos trying to tag with 2 outs.....

which makes even less sense since hes gonna score on a single anyway with 2 out

salty hit like .340 when he came up w/ the braves......hes done nothing bout flounder with rangers.

yet again he hits w/ 2 on 2 out and is left holding the bag as he k's yet again in key spot

That's why to me it matters when McCann is not in the lineup.
Not saying it's gonna effect the game that much, but always makes me take a second look and possibly check the under.

Im 100% sure hes available to pinch hit, like russell martin, he catches the majority of teams games, and doesnt necessarily sit every night/day combo.....its prolly better for ATL overall that he sit here, its hot

miller was hitting 9th...long removed from mcanns spot...making contact here and not k'ing is all they needed....getting the early lead yesterday led to a win..and cox prolly thinks this was good enough......braves have been having trouble scoring with them loaded and less than 2 out...so 1st and 3rd and getting 1 is a-o-k, with bobby, so its aok with me

besides, this game coems down to charlie morton...he held the halos to 3 thru 6 over the weekend...he does that here and ATL wins

Right, but McCann in his normal 5th/6th spot bumps everybody else down.
Shoot could have even been your boy Blanco down at double leadoff if the Braves had gone with their normanl lineup today with Johnson up top and McCann in his spot.

I agree, and hope Morton does well for my Under. However I think this game also comes down to the Braves pen. Not a lot of good options down there, and I don't think Gonzalez gets used again today.

texeira gets a double, and then gets to 3rd. and the not so clutch kelly johnson (as i like to call him) singles him in...braves coudla had more with johnson on 3rd and 1 out, but franocur impatiently swung at bad pitch, and fouled out to first.

Incidentally, mike gonzalez is available today as the announcers went out of their way to mention, and dude is SUPER STOKED TO BE back pitching

Man I don't know about using Gonzalez today.

I'd be careful for the next few weeks if I were the Braves. They finally get a guy back who looks like he can be the answer to the 9th inning role, I would not be using him so much early. (He worked the last few days on a rehab assignment and then last night). Of course he wants to go again, I just don't think I would do it.
