I'll put my vote in for Jim Rome. He rubs alot of people the wrong way but he's rarely boring.

Cowherd is my favorite.

Starting to get used to Tirico and Van Pelt as well.

lately i am of the opinion that 95% of all talk shows are for people too dumb to think for themselves and need other people to think for them. I hear the same crap spewed from talk shows in bars, offices and even friends mouths. And the sad thing is that when forced to explain half the crap they regurgitate they turn red and get pissed off because you just proved them to be idiots.

Case and point, a radio talk show host once made comment about how Vince Young should not be making comments about how he thought of quitting football in his first year at QB. He making comments like this would bring down a QB's performance the following season.

When i heard a friend of mine repeat this crap, i simply asked him to provide me with any empirical evidence that anything coming out of a persons mouth can affect any physical activity they may be engaged in. Of course he couldnt. So he goes on about how this affects the players negatively. Again i asked him to explain to me how this would happen. Would the Running backs be so engrossed in these comments that they would forget their assignments? Dont they have bigger issues on their minds like production for the team so as to increase their pay grade? I asked him did he honestly think any offensive player would even waste a second contemplating VY's words when a ball is flying in the air towards him? Of course he run out of arguments when i asked him to explain why Terrell Owens has perenially been a top 3 WR even with the worst nonsense coming out of his mouth and nothing Vy said can even be remotely compared to his antics.

Ultimately i got him to admit that the talk show host was just blubbering and that was that!!!

folks get it in your head, talk shows are complete junk entertainment for people too lazy or too stupid to think for themselves.

Bob Kemp was the best hands down, but no longer on the air.
I like Colin Cowherd, but he is only about half sports.

Speaking of horrible, do you guys listen to JT the Brick. This has got to be the worst on the radio right now. How Fox keeps this guy is beyond me.

I like Ben Maller and Bruce Jacobs. Both these guys tell it like it is, especially Jacobs. I get a kick out of Bruce when he goes on a tirade about Bonds, Clemens, The Yankees and the Dolphins. Classic radio.

World Soccer Daily with Steven Cohen and Kenny Hasad, otherwise, I think they all stink but Tirico and Van Pelt sound like they would be pretty good. Informed, intelligent and respectful.

99% of the guys that have their own shows have the worst personalities and personas, arrogant, shouting down callers, offensive and sensationalist blowhards.

I agree about Bobby Kemp. BY FAR the smartest guy I have ever heard talk sports, seemed like he gambled (and won) from the way he talked about it, but who knows if that is the case.
