What's scary is CC isn't 100% yet.
When he's completely healthy he's as good as anybody in the game not named A-Rod.

When I look at their lineup it doesn't look that great, but somebody new steps up each game.

Bet Rays and Cubs every home game and you will win most of the time.

I agree, Crawford is the man! Thought I was screwed when Cubbies picked up 3 but Marmol shit the bed, and Eyre didn't help. :pope:

I wouldn't go that far, but he is a really good player. Did the Rays lock him up long term?

He's one of 2 or 3 true five tool players.
Power, speed, arm, average, and fielding.

In most Fantasy Baseball settings, CC entered the season ranked between 10 to 15th.

If we credit him for his defensive prowess as well, he easily moves into the Top 10.

I would take Utley, H. Ramirez, A-Rod, Reyes, Wright, Braun, M.Cabrera, Sizemore, Rollins, and Hamilton before Crawford.

Hamilton is an inspirational story, but he's gotta give me more than 12 weeks of high calibre play to be in any kind of Top10 "Franchise" players list

And I'll add that Jose Reyes might be in that group too. It would be very interesting to see him play a couple seasons in an environment that was not as screwed up as in Metville.

If Crawford can develop more power I would put him ahead of Sizemore and Hamilton. Hamilton might have the most talent of all those guys I mentioned.

His defense is suspect.
I'll say this to the Hamilton fans, the same thing I told the Peralta fans 2 1/2 years ago that said Peralta is the best SS in the game.
I need more than 500 career AB's before I can dub anybody the best at their position.
After his breakout season, how's Peralta doing?

See my point?

I don't think you can compare Peralta to Hamilton.

Hamilton was the #1 overall pick and without his drug problems he would be a Top 5 player right now. I think Hamilton will only get better with each at bat.

If Hamilton was in RF for the Rays today they would be leading the MLB in wins and on their way to a WS. Peralta doesn't have the natural swing that Josh has IMHO.

Crawford is a scary guy to have to play against. Whenever he gets on base I assume he's stealing second easily very shortly. He can easily be a top 10 player IMO. I would rate A-Rod, Pujols, Han Ram, Wright, Ortiz, Utley, Manny, Soriano and maybe Wells as better players, in that exact order.

A-Rod, Pujols and Han Ram are miles ahead of everyone else though in my opinion.
