Should of been more clear in my assesement. I look at pitchers splits, two separate pitchers, home and on the road. Why would you care what a pitchers numbers are on the road when looking at playing him at home, and vice versa. In the grand scheme of things I am sure more data produces better results but this far into the season you can clearly see the discrepancy between how a pitchers performs on the road versus at home.
How would you think he ranks comparing NL pitchers in their own home parks?
Maybe I am just out of the loop but I watch 3-6 games a night on most nights and gotta stick by my guns that there are not many better pitchers than Cook in the NL, and he might be THE best for a home starting pitcher.
