You really need to look at getting a franchise for this company...

GlobalTranz

What they do: The trucking business is a big scam. You bring freight in from companies like Roadway, Old Dominion, etc. and deal with them direct. Well, the smaller your company, the more they charge you for freight. Larger corporations get giant discounts on what they bring in b/c they are dealing more with the trucking companies.

What GlobalTranz does: They go to all the trucking companies and say "We have a network of 2000 small to mid size companies (growing every day) and we want BIG discounts on the freight we are moving". The trucking companies do not want to lose out on this business, so they give GlobalTranz giant discounts.

I have a mid size company, and GT has saved me close to $1500 in the last 3 weeks just on in bound freight. It's crazy good. If I wasn't busy as balls running this company, I would be buying up franchises of this company.

if you see this Racer, you think you might be able to explain it a litte more in-depth. One of the guys that works for me was talking about something like this the other day. I will ask him again what his buddy does. He started to explain it to me and I remebered this thread about trucking.

It's really one of the coolest things....

If you buy a franchise...here is what you do. You go to a bunch of small and mid size companies. You tell them you can save them on freight. They will look at you at little skeptical, but all you need is FIVE MINUTES of their time. You log onto a website, punch in the info about the shipment and bam...instant savings. It brings up five or six different shipping options, most people will opt for the least expensive. But the discounts are huge....this company has a customer for life in me.

I think one of the best things about it is you don't have to do much research to find your customers. Just sit at one of the local terminals of one of the big trucking companies in your area and follow them around for the day....

Go into those companies a week later and steal the customer.

Trust me, most smaller companies are not paying basement type prices for shipping.

And selling the product isn't that hard. Most smaller companies freight is controlled by the owner. Freight is something that comes out of HIS pocket. It is passed along to the customer to a certain extent, so when you show him how much he saves, he KNOWS that is found money for HIM.
