One thing I have learned is don't go against a streak, and I am finally teaching myself to put money on the streak. I am always a contrarian type guy, pessimistic my natural, always think a team is playing better than they really are and that they will come back to earth, or that a team has "got to win" this one, will turn it around in this situation, etc.
Having said all that I am taking the White Sox today for what it is worth, injuries are starting to pile up on the Cubs and they just got shellshocked by the Rays while the White Sox are rolling. Two teams going in opposite directions right now, no doubt the Cubs will bounce back but I will wait for a more favorable situation to consider better them (Dempster at home or Righty vs. Righty)
