Ask any player or dealer that has played/dealt here in Florida for any reasonable length of time..........these stories(although this one is near the top) are a dime a dozen, almost on a daily basis.

Get this, put in a ton of hours last week gunning for the Bad Beat Jackpot at the Tampa Hard Rock which was over half a million. A bad beat consists of no less than quads getting beat..........50% to the loser, 25% to winner, and 25% to the table.
NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE, a player moved all-in on me after flopping quads!!
The second time I had pocket tens and came very close to slapping the guy up across his head, as I had to be restrained by a couple players at the table.

My last post reminds me of another story, a player at Tampa Greyhound moved ALL-IN after flopping quad 3's.
After everyone folded and he showed his quads, I inquired as to why he didn't just check his quads, he replies(again in a serious matter)...............

hno:My "very average" poker playing ability has been well documented on this forum over the years..........but here in Florida, I could literally play looking at only one hole card and probably in all liklihood beat the game.
In fact, one day I'm going to try this just for shits and giggles.
Playing 2-5 NO LIMIT hold em last evening at Derby Lane, when after a couple hours the guy next to me(who is stuck about $300) turns to me and asks me in a non-joking matter................
