Record: 82-95 -17.27 Units
2 Unit Plays: 5-3

Just a horrible season but I still promise it gets turned around and ends profitable. I really need to keep daily attention to this thing but it's been rough lately. Follow the picks the rest of the way and make a ton of money. You heard it here first.

Atlanta Braves -129
Pitchers: Morton/Bush

Chad Morton did very well in AAA and looked at least serviceable in two tough road assignments to start his MLB career. This one should be much easier for him since Milwaukee has had issues scoring runs on the road this season. Dave Bush can pitch great at home but seems to give up runs every road start and the Braves at home have been very good with their bats. Even without Chipper, this line has value.

Detroit/St Louis Under 9 +100
Detroit Tigers -1.5 +135

Pitchers: Rogers/Looper

Kenny Rogers is a wily veteran who is throwing great baseball and that Cards lineup without Pujols doesn't impress me at all. I doubt they score more than a run or two. Looper is pitching very nicely as well but Detroit can put up runs at home and Looper won't dominate this one. The Tigers should get a few runs and win something like 5-2 as long as Todd Jones doesn't pull his signature move and blow the save.

Washington Nationals +135
Washington/LAA Under 8.5 -105

Pitchers: Garland/Hill

Hill is a solid pitcher and Garland is up and down. If the Nats can put up a few runs, that might be all they need.

Minnesota Twins +145
Pitchers: Slowey/Peavy

The Padres just can't put up runs and Slowey is tricky to hit. Hoffman loves to blow games and Minnesota is playing some pretty good baseball. I like the value here with San Diego unlikely to dominate.

Cleveland Indians -1.5 +115
Pitchers: Laffey/Sanchez

Just a Sanchez fade. He's not MLB ready and now that people have seen him more, I think he'll start getting rocked.

Agree with you on some of those, but there's 2 games I think you've got dead wrong.

1) S. Hill WAS a good pitcher. He's been babying his arm all year and that's led to him just putting up 3 quality starts in 11 attempts. That's not solid... that's pathetic. What's even worse is the Nationals have only won in 1 of those QS. His avg. game score is 42.7... which ranks him 117th out of all MLB starting pitchers with 60+ innings. His neighbors on this list are B. Tomko and C. Silva... wow.

2) The Giants have gone 11-4 in games that Sanchez has started. The same record of a fellow teammate named Lincecum. He's averaging 9 K/9 IP. After 80 innings, I don't see how you can say he's not "ready" when only C. Billingsley and E. Volquez have put up better K/9 IP & at least 80 IP. He has a 2:1 K:BB ratio, his average game score is 52.1 ... some people below him on that list are T. Lilly, A. Harang, R. Oswalt. Can you tell me those guys aren't "ready"?

Good Luck bud, hopefully that's some good food for thought. :103631605

I disagree on the stl/detroit game. Rogers had some good starts but lets face it he is about ready for the pasture!

The cards even without pujols have been great on the road and just took 2 out of 3 from the sox. They can hit run and most of all they can pitch. Their pen outmatches the tigers pen by far. I like STL here to win the game and the series in detroit

Heck I don't know if Rogers (Detroit) is even capable of tossing a camera at this stage in his career.
