Indiana has agreed to trade six-time All-Star forward Jermaine O'Neal to Toronto in exchange for T.J. Ford and the 17th overall pick in Thursday night's draft. Toronto will also send Rasho Nesterovic and another player to the Pacers to match O'Neal's salary.

that means tinsley is going to be dished out also. Toronto's taking a huge gamble on this guy.

Not really...the more I think about it the more I like it...good to have 25+ Million come off the books for the big summer of 2011.

60 games of JO is better than 60 games of TJ

jermaine is all star caliber player if healthy. him and bosh should be a dynamic duo. bargnani is getting better as well.

id expect calderon or garbajosa to run the point

Ask a Pacer fan about O'Neal. Their dancing in the streets in Indy right now, they could not wait to get rid of him. The trade would have been much more even without Raptors first rounder...O'neil and his fat contract for Ford and thats it.

I'm just hoping JO took forever to come back from Injury because the situation in Indy was Shite...no rush to come back to crap

Are you guys serious. T.J Ford is overrated trash. He is a heist box and plays no defense. And make horrible decisions in the 4th. I know the raps dont get a lot of TV time. But if u watch Ford for at least 30 games I bet u say toronto got the best of this deal. Two post players surronded by a whole bunch of three point shooters.

Garbajosa is is their backup center/power forward. Calderon has the point job locked up and will be a stud

whos going to play center, bosh or o'neal. from what i followed of the raptors jamario moon was solid at the small forward so he'd probably stay there. calderon at the point, anthony parker id guess at the off guard

Hopefully Bird has a trick or 2 up his sleeve....JO has lacked serious heart and was never the leader the team had hoped for....That being said , I really hope something special is on the horizon......cause after reggie left and the brawl in detroit we have STUNK....would also be nice to see Tinsley,Daniels,Williams and Murphy hit the road too...

I am praying tom. nite is a big one for the few pacers fans out there.

i'm a TO fan and I am glad to see TJ go. thjat's the consnsu from all Raps fans I have talked to. he's way too selfish and doesn't get team mats as involved s he should as PG. he can't shoot worth shit and every team knows it so they play way off him. Caulderon is is def better than TJ so no point havin 2 starting PG's.

Since the deal won't become official until July 1, Larry Bird will have to tell Toronto who to draft at the 17th spot. I feel bad for the player having to go through the charade knowing full well he's a Pacer.
