I can't think of any reason to touch any base with the left foot (except maybe 1st)

I take back my answer....just saw a video of running the bases....i guess left is okay as long as you are on the inside of the base....

tricky question for us casual fans

maybe and i mean maybe seond base is ok with right foot.........unless you are vince coleman then it didnt matter

My way is to touch the base with both feet and then "spring" off the base. The trampoline effect of this will catapult you and save several steps and time (same reason bunnies are fast).
