Why would anyone not have a Matchbook account for bases?

99% of my bets are placed there. You really need to post up there, if you are betting bases.

Getting -131 or +129 after commission instead of -135 or +125......on every game. Getting run lines at +120 or -121 instead of +110 and -130. Getting over 8 +103 instead of -110......on every game.

I strongly agree here. I rarely find better value anywhere else.Matchbook is the nuts and the only reason I can see people don't play there is they think it's too complicated because it is an exchange.You're missing out people.

matchbook is great, just a word of advice when doing live betting games pay 100 percent attention to what your doing i was trying to set odds one day winded up clicking the under instead of the over and had to try to buy back lost a few dollars there, lol

Those prices are rarely correct. The rest of the market would be offering better than -135/+125 if you had a decent selection of books. It's usually more like a 4-7 cent difference. Also, 1 cent spreads at Matchbook are usually only available later on in the day, if at all. 2-4 cent spreads are the norm there. That said, matchbook is awesome to have.

$9 for regular mail = 30 days
$40 for fed ex check, you get within 5 days

You will make this up with savings in juice in no time betting bases. Prices are usually 3-4 cents better at matchbook, sometimes more. Rarely do I find a better line at 5 dimes than I do at Matchbook. 5 dimes does have alot of prop bets though that others do not offer

If you have other accounts funded, look into a book to book transfer. They deal with a bunch of other books and it's free and fast.

Jim, just transfer between the two books, if you want the check from 5D. The difference in lines is huge, in particular on totals and RL's. Just click on it and compare, no account needed to look at lines.

With baseball commission only 1%, I get 3-7 cents better line on every game, an hour before the first pitch. I use 5 Dimes for overnights.
