With the ice and the brutal weather conditions, oil will be very hard to drill in Alaska..It can and probably will eventually happen..But it's going to cost more to get it out of the ground there as opposed to better sites like Montana or South Dakota.

Well even if its 5 yrs , If you listened to the Democratic leaders both Reid and Hussein they have said they want to STOP oil importation immediately..right now! tommorrow if possible.......

Their theory is that doing this will FORCE us to use alternative sources which..........are NOT available at the present time. So if they get their way we will have NO FUEL until we can use our solar panel cars and the elec company can use windmills to power our homes. Therefore the only hope is to recover our own resources...
But dangit wouldnt you know it..........THEY AGAINST THAT TOO!!!

So ask yourself , what is it the Democrat leadership REALLY wants??????

I don't think these politicians have taken a very realistic look at oil..I think they'll find that we depend on it much more than they think. And good luck converting our planes, trains and 18 wheelers to electricity. Plus we depend on oil so much for just the everyday things in life..I go to a place that recycles print cartridges for printers when I need some ink..The owner told me they had to recently go up a dollar on their recycled cartridges because of the oil situation..He said it takes 1 and a half pints of oil just to make and fill a little ink cartridge! And look how many of them are sold every day.

Anyone who thinks Alaska will supply all our oil needs is misinformed.
Anyone who thinks we should not drill for oil there is stupid!
