Have any of you done teeth whiting at a dentist, what does it cost and how long did last? Any additional dental problems or pain associated with it?

Have had it done twice and then decided to get the trays with nite white and day white. The zoom process is the fastest however some people have a severe sensitivity to it. There is a gel you can use afterwards if they hurt. It didn't bother me. After about six months they start to turn again. I got the trays and do it whenever i want. You can do in the daytime while working or just watching tv. About one to two hoours for about five days usually does the trick. If you use the nite white you leave in all night and it is a little quicker. I've never had a problem and it changed mine about five shades. Notice you live in Big D also. there are plenty of dentists doing this.

zoom costs you in the 600 dollar ballpark. Some patients experienced severe sensitivity when i was there working. General consensus is to get a bleaching tray done and then just buy tubes to load it on the tray and wear them at night.

I used some cheap stuff from Walmart and it worked really good, it took about a week of using it, but it did work really good.

It was called 5 minute whitening or something like that. The box has a tray, rinse and some gel. The stuff was only like 10-20 dollars and it worked great it is way better than the strips.

Lazer Whitining

Anyone hear about the laser whitening method, done in about an hour I think, any feedback?
Have done both and prefer the lazer process. Even though my teeth aren't sensitive they have to put a ultraviolet light on the gel to make it process. my lips got extremely sunburned. It took about two hours and the Zoom process didn't seem to get them quite as bright as the Lazer. The lazer takes an hour but is not a ultraliolet lite. I still prefer the slower but more convenient way of the tray's now. Just did it two weeks ago. Wore the day brite while i played a quick nine and then that night put on the night brite. It took about five days and i didn't do the day's in a row.

Look around for ads in your area for dentisits offering free whitening or greatly reduced prices for new clients. Don't pay a high price for it because the dentisit is ripping you off.

also you might want to buy an electric toothbrush. I have a Sonicare. Been using it for years. I think my teeth have gotten whiter because of it. Get many compliments on how white my teeth look. Didn't use any whitening products cause my top teeth are too sensitive. So I think it has to be from the toothbrush.

Yes
I tired a dentist and later brite smile
Brite smile is your best choice, I am on their email list, they email me every month, $200 off coupon, reg price $600
My first appointment was for one hour, a session is 20 minutes, 3 sessions in one hour, very painful for 5-6 hours after the appointment
was it worth it? Yes

I also bought their plan after my first appointment, 4 sessions for $200, one session every six months
