It looks like a song is in mid stride but none of the buttons will do anything and there's no music. It's just frozen. Any help?

Happened to me before, I had to wait for its batteries to drain completely and it turned it self off, once I charged it up and turned it on again it worked good(for awhile). No moving parts takes the fun out of smacking something to get it to work doesnt it.

I thought that's what I may have to do. Thank you.

NES full of horrible worthless info... you can reset the ipod...

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tried that, he said the buttons dont respond hence your advice is useless. Try immersing it in water, that may help.

Like UNO said, hold Center and Menu together for like 10 seconds and it will reset
