1. Not usually a big KC fan but Davies has been consistent this season while Olsen has not, Balt has ruled this series of late but things have to change at some point, KC is 12 games below .500 vs righty starters and 14-11 vs lefties, appears good enough value to endorse the Royals here at +140
2. Another team I generally do not appreciate betting on in the SF giants but the pitching matchup is severely tilted in their favor today in an awkward start time in california today, should only benefit lincecum's nastyness even more, SF is 11-7 as a fav while the cubbies are 8-15 as a dog. New York Yankees here, Pettite has been on a trend vs boston of giving 4+ innings in one start and next start giving 7+, this would be the 7+ start, with Yankee bats coming to life and boston in the dumps this is a good way for the yanks to catch up for 2nd place, Lesters one outing vs NY was a bloodbath, 3+ innings allowing 8 hits and 7 ER, Ill go with the vet here, while boston has compiled a 12-4 mark vs lefties, Pettitte isnt any ordianry lefty. Was on the fence with this game but the more I look I like the OVER 10 in the mets and cardinals game, both teams came to play last night even after a rain delay, it was a change seeing the mets actually hit the ball with some consistency, Pelfrey has been a little up and down and I still dont believe in boggs it appears a game where the hitters should have the upper hand, Notice Mets scored 15 runs for pelfrey in his last outing in Boggs three starts its been 5,9,7 from st louis offense.
