I usually say No, then everybody guns for me.

I always do when the buy-ins are $300 or less because the blinds seem to go up so fast. Its not even poker at most final tables its just an all in game. If your going to play your hand and call the blind or raise most times at the final table you are committing 30-40% of your chips. Not worth it in my opinion to put in all of that time for barely no reward.

I have made deals at maybe 10% of final tables. But it was usually not a 10 way chop. Certain % for the 3 highest chip counts and so forth

I have never done a 10 way chop either. Only top 2 or 3.

agree, silly not to chop in these low buy in tourneys, unless you have a big chip lead (go for chip equity split). with the blinds so high it basically becomes a lottery, guess you could choose to play if you just felt like gambling.
