I believe the Sox invented the choke - just ask the Mets. Redsox read the NYY's book on "How to Have Bases Loaded & Not Score Any Runs."
The redsox fans are pouting, crying, and complaining about losing a game and mostly hitting the booze table to drink away their sorrows. What no sweep? Tek has left a small village on the base paths. Lugo can not hit the inside of a barn even if he was standing in the inside of it.

We've won (yeah WE, im honorary Red Sox Nation bitch!!!).. 2 outta 4 games of this series already... underdog in the first three games, without Ortiz... what are you expecting?!?!? Im a Red Sox fan die hard for life and I even had the yanks tonight... didnt place any cash but I knew we wouldnt take this game, the fact it was 2-1 final is surpising...

The Red Sox live in the shadow of the Yankees and have been doing so ever since they gave away Ruth. All their glory comes from playing the Yankees...they don't celebrate winning the world series vs St. Louis years ago, they celebrate the ALCS.
Someone says the Yanks are playing the Sox tonight and they have to ask if it is the White Sox or the Red Sox. The Yanks are the Yanks and the Sox could be anyone.

New Yorkers have enjoyed more subway series alone than the Red Sox fans have seen world series victories in the last 90 years.
If it wasn't the Giants in the world series, it was the Dodgers, or the Mets...New York vs New York. It never ends for New York.

Yes the Red Sox are terrible having won 2 out of the last 4 world series all the while develping a well defined farm system producing players they pay shit for while maintaining a huge fan base.
Thats no way to run a team

The Yankees are the most valuable sports franchise in America and the Sox are not.
The Yankees draw over 4 million every year in a market with another team that out draws the Red Sox. The Sox never will draw like New York.
You have Ted (no rings) - Yaz (no rings) - Fisk (no rings) - and Rice (no rings). You have wild card championships and THAT'S IT.

honestly, i'm 29 now. beyond the yankees suck thing. they are sort of in the rear-view mirror to me now. just another team. its sports and its not paying for my gas or rent.
