1H BAL ORIOLES u5½-115
Millwood is 8-2 with a 3.29 ERA in 11 career starts versus the Orioles, winning six straight outings and posting a 1.64 ERA against them since May 4, 2006. He walked a season-high five batters, but limited Baltimore to one run and three hits in seven innings of a 3-1 victory on April 10.
Radhames Liz is 3-0 with a whopping 5.46 but BAA is only 2.45 and walks are his bugga boo.
He's coming off a 6.0 innings only one walk gonna hope he has matured since last time he faces Tex getting shelled.

Spin: Liz picked up a quality start, though it was not the prettiest outing. He gave up two home runs as part of seven hits, but he delivered six innings for the Orioles, a team whose bullpen has struggled recently. Liz threw just 80 pitches, so he should have had more left in the tank if it was necessary to give the bullpen a breather.</td></tr><tr class="colhead"><td> Player News Archive</td></tr></tbody></table><table class="tablehead" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tbody><tr bgcolor="#000000"><td class="stathead">PROJECTIONS updated February 14, 2008</td></tr><tr class="evenrow"><td class="playernews">Evaluation
: With 447 strikeouts in 365 minor league innings, Liz has captured the Orioles' attention with his electric stuff. Unfortunately, he walked almost a batter per inning in his 25-inning debut last year. Liz has a blazing fastball with movement that makes it tough to hit. He's making progress developing the secondary pitches needed to remain a starter. His control issues are severe enough to limit his value this year. If the hype is strong in your league, let others overpay. Liz is still a valuable long-term property, though.
