I got a call from Joshua Towers from the following number
(561) 447-0512 7893 La Mirada Dr, Boca Raton, FL 33433

He offered me picks for $400 and gave me four free picks over the course of 2 days. He went 3-1

Anyone heard of him? Is this a scam, as he wants $$ through WU

Pitching not working out for him?

In all seriousness, I think handicappers are a waste of time and money considering how many free and more importantly DOCUMENTED cappers post here.

If you want to pay for one (big mistake IMO), at least find a site where the handicappers are tracked over a long period of time.

One trick many handicappers use is that they give different plays to different people. There are 24 combinations of 4 picks if I did the math right. That's means if he uses 24 combinations on 24 people, one person gets the 4-0 and others get a 3-1. It's a handicapper trick and 4 picks proves absolutely nothing.

You will be on the callback list....it's pretty damn easy: He makes a LOT of phone calls...Say

100 calls giving teams A, C, E, G

100 calls giving teams A, D, E, G

100 calls giving teams A, C, F, G

etc etc.

The beauty is 100 people go 4 - 0, more go 3-1, etc. The losers never get a followup call, but you bet your ass the 4-0 and 3-1 people do.

So, smart people will say that doesn't prove anything...He'll come back with "I have one of my top plays of the year tonight, if I give it to you and it wins, you purchase a set of picks, ok?" Hell, it's a Bonus Play right?

Well, 50 are going to win and 50 are going to lose.

Now you have 50 people who think the guy is 5-0, including a top play of the year. even if only half go through and pay the 400$, that's 10 grand, not bad for 2 nights work.

That's why sportsbook phone/email lists are valuable, it takes a lot of numbers to churn though fake plays....

Feel bad for people new to this industry, I mean, 5-0, can't beat that !! :ohno:
