Verlander has been really hot winning his last 3 in a row with a 2.0 ERA. Cleveland on the other hand is completely riddled with injuries and has to scrap around to find a starter to replace C.C Sabathia's regular tuesday start. Jeremy Sowers (0-4) averages a 7.53 ERA and has lost 4 of his last 5. He pitched against detroit earlier in the year and got shelled giving up 5 earned runs. Expect the same today.

Chicago -158 or play it -1 1/2

Dempster doesnt fuck around.... nuff said. Cinci is hot but their pitcher is not. Play Chicago big.

You understand that a lot of cappers use those Expert things from W---- L---as a system of fading right?

I find that they are actually fairly accurate. Fade all you want.... you have to admit that there is no reason why the cubs shouldnt win today. By fading you are just using wishful thinking.

They are experts for a reason. They simply know their teams. I say load up on the Cubs. I see no reason they don't win this by 4 runs myself. I'll be riding along with the experts on this one and I'll be seeing you boys at the cashier

the ONLY reason they may lose is the fact that Dempster isn't really all that strong against lefty batters, Reds lineup is chalked full of em. I still think Harrang will get pounded tonight...

How has the Cubs bullpen been in the L10 days?

How is Dumpster against Lefties?

Other than his first start this season, how has Harang done against the Cubs? How about at Wrigley?

How much of the public action is on the Cubs?

How did the Cubs bats fair in thie first game home after their last trip?

How does Adam Dunn, Keppinger, Hairston (Reds hottest hitter), and Griffey faired agaisnt Dempster?
