Did you see the story in the WSJ about the Rooney family? My favorite part was about Art Rooney Sr keeping the steelers going in the early years by horse handicapping! Did you guys know that? That would make a great book or at least some articles. Don't you think?

Yes, I even got to meet him when I was a Teen.
Reason is because I use to be in the Harness racing business. And the Rooney Family ( Art himself ) Owns Yonkers Raceway, here in NY.
Tim Rooney now runs it.

It wasn't just Handicapping Horses that kept the Steelers going. He and the Family had Owned Many Very good Race Horses.

They also hold a Race after his name, which is the Art Rooney Pace.

Great read for any NFL fan, not just a Steelers fan.
