I don't know what's up with this fight, but the line moved from

1000/-6000 to

in about 30 minutes. Anyone know anything about these guys or the fight. Williams appears to be a tomato can, but that is a big and strange line move.

Rubin Williams was a much hyped prospect that didn't deliver. He's in that "opponent" stage in his career, but I wouldn't call him a tomato can.

I actually saw him fight a few years ago here in Vegas. It was against the common opponent these two have, Max Heyman. He was pretty lucky to get the decision in that fight.

He's also moving up in weight for the fight and he's not exactly known as a hard worker in the gym so I'm guessing he won't show up in tip-top shape.

When I saw that fight listed I wondered if it was the same guy I remembered and am surprised given the odds that it was.

No way would I lay 35-1 and at that price the dog is certainly worth a shot. This is a skilled, albeit lazy, boxer we are talking about not one of those club fighters.

I confess to not knowing much about Chris Henry though and I would do a little more research to see what kind of shape Williams is in first.

Williams got thrashed pretty soundly by Andre Ward and that's why I think the line shot up when it became available. That is still fresh in boxing bettors mind and people perceive him to be finished.

Take a good luck at Klit vs Thompson under. Line is creeping up slowly on the under side.

Took the under in Trout and Tyson bout on ESPN2 tonight as well, Tyson has fought sparingly the past several years and is 29 with only 11 bouts under his belt taking up a young rising prospect in Trout with a good KO record. At +225 for the under 7 1/2, it was hard to pass up.

Putting $100 on Williams, worth a shot

I just bet the max at Pinny (60 bucks!) and the line went from +1934 to +1491. :lolBIG: No one's betting this.

I took a quarter on Rubin and bet to win a quarter on the over.

Figure if he runs and fights defensively like the Ward fight it will go over and breakeven.

If he comes out slugging he has a much better shot to win than a decision, at least better than +1750.

If he gets knocked out early, oh well can start my night sooner.

I dont believe in waiting 6 months for a match that turns out to be shit..I like to bet these Wed and Fri nite cards..Telefutura, telemundo, showtime etc...

I am but a poor negro child..So I wont throw away a buck on the big dog here...The fav sure as hell aint worth the risk to gain so most will either take the dog (the sb`s are counting on it, or play the total)

I put 25 on the big dog..hoping for that miracle that comes along in boxing every 3 months..Also I got 50 on Tyson..dont know shit about it but he `s a better pay off..I`ll tape this shit and watch it after MLB..GL Mates-D

F-in Trout is obviously in a different class than his opponent yet he refuses to go for the kill.

Unimpressed with Henry. He will get a chance to be someone's sacrifical lamb though. Williams should retire at this point. Look like he was there to collect a paycheck.
