pirates are down 4-3...and wilson leads off with double...then mclotuh follows him with a double...

i dont think i ever saw back to back doubles that didnt score the guy oin 2nd...

to make matters worse...the next pitch is a wild pitch with guys on 2nd and 3rd...and jack wilson gets tagged out at home and doesnt slide.....is he super slow, or super stupid?

The double was most likely a bloop that the runner on 2nd thought was going to be caught so had to hold up at 2nd till it hit the ground, so that would explain not scoring. That happens all the time.

Not sliding on a close play at the plate on a wild pitch is stupid though. I guess he felt like pulling a Giambi.
