took +140...have been on them every game this series..they had chances yesterday to beat up the Philly pen, but couldn't take advantage. I'm glad they were even that close considering Mulders early departure.

Hope their bull pen is not drained by using 5 guys yesterday. Need Looper to go at least 7-8 innings. The bats need to come alive big time against Moyer.

glad we got a little group going, and also good that others think there is some value in this.....kinda forgot to factor in the use of all of their pitchers, the over probably is a good bet, EXCEPT phili has been struggling to score to say the least, but Moyer has not been pitching well as of late....how about a 13-4 explosion by Cards???? Sound good to anyone else????? Let's go CARDS!!!!

I'm not AS confident as you are DayTrader, but I do think that with Looper pitching well and Moyer struggling at times, I'll take the more-consistent Cards versus the bi-polar phillies....1 hr till gametime!!!!

moyer gives up 5, but phillies will get about 10-20 here......line is begging for stl money after yesterday close miss on national tv

you think so???? I like Looper in this situation.....interesting point about the stl money line though....thought it was that due to the lack of bullpen behind loop....

if i backed phillies, i wouldnt like doing so with moyer vs all those sweet righty bats like pujols and ludwick...but equally so, looper vs phillies lefties in citizens park? u prolly see dobbs in there for feliz, and aint nothing wrong with that

just as bad for cards backers,if not worse than backing moyer, at least he has advantage over duncan or ankiel

just read how Pujos and Ludwick have struggled vs Moyer...and just saw how dominant Moyer is versus the cards....hmmm....this isn't good, prob. gonna buy back some of it and take a small loss....damnit! lol

now I would think opposite....The Phills previously lost 4 straight before last night. With that said, I would think the line beggs for Philly $ in that the perception is that they have the momentum and last night's win is a springboard to them turning their losing around.

philly not platying well right now....books dont need to lay +135 out there for u to fade them against a better than .500 ball clubs.....+110 woulda been plenty to even out the action......+130 ish just tells me books are fine if u wanna hop on st loius here. i dont think phils should be -135 at home with moyer pitching favorites vs anyone in the nl besides the nationals or padres

loopers weakness in his last start vs cubs was the long ball...he pitched very well, but gave up two of them......against phillies in this parkthats a bad weakness to have

Makes sense...

I just have a hard time buying into the Phillies as a team. If they are not hitting homers they can't win. They don't do the little things well, and their pitching is hit or miss..

dude..they steal alot of bases, they just arent hitting now....they arent playing well right now....but thats what not hitting will do.....they played a great game last night...and have best bullpen in NL.....they dont need to hit homers to win...they just need to hit....they havelost alot of close games lately...mostly to mets....which based on the direction of both teams ....was easy to forsee, mets are playing well right now, and phils havent been...

jenkins is in....and thats usally 100% reason enough to fade phillies.....he ks most the time, and hits a meaningless HR once every 100 at bats...they should hit him 8th or 9th IMO, or simply cut him.......all that being said...i have 0$ wagered on this game...im just telling u from an observers standpoint, i wouldnt be surprised to see philly have one of those unexplainable sick 17 run games, like boston did yesterday
